Initial Behavior Consults

Service Description

Our in-home pet behavior consultation in NYC ($950, 1.5–2 hours) is designed for dogs and cats experiencing anxiety, aggression, compulsive behaviors, or other behavioral challenges. During your first visit, our board-certified veterinary behaviorist meets your pet, establishes the legally required Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR), and creates a customized behavior and wellness plan. We review your pet’s medical and behavioral history, perform an in-home evaluation, and discuss a treatment plan including behavior modification, environmental adjustments, and medication if indicated. A detailed electronic summary is shared with your veterinarian and trainer to ensure continuity of care, and ongoing guidance and medication support are provided while the VCPR is active.
